A registerable sale deed, the title chain (parent documents going back 30 years where available), patta, chitta, latest property tax receipt, encumbrance certificate, ID proofs and passport-size photos of buyer and seller, PAN cards, and proof of paid stamp duty and registration fee.
Two witnesses must appear in person at the Puduchattiram_Chidambaram SRO at the time of registration. Power of attorney holders must produce the original notarised POA.
