Every document lives at the lead site level, so your land records stay organized alongside the site they belong to — no scattered folders or lost files.

Supported document types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| EC | Encumbrance Certificate |
| Patta | Revenue record of ownership |
| FMB | Field Measurement Book / sketch |
| Legal docs | Sale deeds, title opinions, NOCs, and other legal paperwork |
| Other | Any supporting document not covered above |
Tip: Choosing the right document type upfront makes verification faster and keeps your audit trail clean. When in doubt, use Other and add a descriptive note.
File requirements
- Accepted formats: PDF, JPG, PNG, TIFF
- Maximum file size: 20 MB per file
- Stick to letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores in file names — special characters will be rejected
Tip: If you’re scanning paper records, PDF gives you the best balance of quality and file size. Save scans at 200–300 DPI for legibility without hitting the 20 MB limit.
Upload a document
- Open a lead site from the Lead Sites list.
- Scroll to the Documents section or click the Documents tab.
- Click Upload Document.
- Select the document type from the dropdown.
- Choose your file and click Open.
- Add an optional note (e.g., “EC from sub-registrar office, dated Jan 2025”). These notes are visible to reviewers, so include anything that helps them verify faster.
- Click Upload.
The document appears in the list immediately with a Pending Verification status. Your team’s managers can then review and verify it from the same page.
Upload multiple documents
You can upload multiple files in one session by clicking Upload Document again after each upload. There is no batch-select at this time — each file is uploaded individually.
Tip: If you have several documents for the same site, work through them in order (EC first, then Patta, then FMB). This makes the reviewer’s job easier.
View and download
Click any document in the list to preview it — PDFs and images open right in your browser, so you don’t need a separate viewer. Use the Download button to save a copy locally.
Delete a document
Click the ⋯ menu next to a document and select Delete. This is permanent and removes both the file and its entire verification history, so double-check before confirming. Only users with document management permissions can delete documents.
